More Progress

I continue to have great appreciation for Jim Nord, the building consultant that has been working with out congregation. He has met twice with the church council and the facility needs team to fashion a recommendation to the congregation that will be presented at our annual meeting on March 22.

I value the approach the Jim has helped us take. He continues to focus us on the ministry we want to carry out now and in the future, asking us what steps we can take even now to implement that ministry. He also has done a good job of describing in detail our present facilities and comparing that to the needs we have for present and future ministry. I think that our congregation will profit from the presentation that he will make at the annual meeting.

One final thing I have appreciated is the positive attitude he brings. He encourages us to believe that God has been doing great things among us and will continue to do great things. And he recognizes that there is more than one solution to the problems we face. We want to try to pick the best one, but we can make a variety of things work.
